Learning outcomes are most effective when there is a healthy mix of theory as well as hands on learning through experiments or demonstrations. In a survey of 240,000 secondary and senior secondary schools (class 11th and 12th), more than 75 per cent of schools in our country aren’t fully equipped with science laboratories. For classes 9th and 10th, wherein an integrated science module is taught to students, over 58 per cent schools don’t have the requisite lab.
Across the world, practical work in well-equipped labs is considered essential for science teaching. However, in several states in India, the situation is worse than what the national average indicates. The situation appears to be slightly better at the previous level of study, classes 9 and 10. But considering that the integrated science paper is compulsory at this level, this improved situation is illusory. More than half the students of classes 9 and 10 are learning science without labs, which itself would be a strong reason that will discourage them from pursuing science further.

LabInApp facilitates students to work on their science experiments multiple times without worrying about laboratory resources. Students can also visualize many things which are not visible to naked eye in the actual laboratory.
For a better learning, there is a need for innovative solution and LabInApp’s 3D virtual laboratory provides the ability for students/teachers to perform the experiments in a real-time 3D environment. Currently, 1500 schools and 20,000 classrooms are using LabInApp’s software.
